AMBITION 2018-2019 WINTER SEASON
It is the mission of AMBITION LACROSSE to offer a wide variety of programming in the interest of raising our players’ game to the highest level.
We embrace our multisport athletes and encourage experiencing other sports and value the importance of family time.
We also have seen injuries of young female athletes on the rise, with an exceptional amount of ACL and knee injuries plaguing the FCIAC in 2017& 2018. Therefore, we have designed a ONE OF A KIND COMPREHENSIVE WINTER SEASON OFFERING with the intention of RAISING OUR PLAYER’S GAMES WHILE DEVELOPING STRONG HEALTHY BODIES in an effort to REDUCE INJURIES in our sport’s primary Spring and Summer season.

WINTER TEAM TRAINING SESSIONS
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2018 – WEDNESDAY MARCH 13, 2019
UNPARALLELLED WINTER TEAM TRAINING LIKE NO OTHER CLUB PROGRAM!
Our one hour weekly sessions include a combination of the following:
- Personalized Strength, Agility, & Flexibility Training for improved performance and injury prevention
- Strengthening muscles, ligaments and tendons to support knee, shoulder and ankle joint; Core and Neck strength with a focus on concussion prevention; Core strength for back health
- Flexibility training for injury prevention and improved speed
- Ladder and footwork drills to improve explosive speed and effective dodging
- Lacrosse skills training
- Stick Skills
Players will be broken up into small groups for individualized attention.
Each session will touch on all of the above but will have a specific weekly focus / skill theme.
$400 registration fee for full 11 sessions.
* if you cannot commit to all 11 sessions, we can prorate the registration fee.
OR $40 drop in fee per session

January 4, 11, 25; February 1, 8, 22: Fridays 5-6 PM
March 6 & 13: SPRING PRE-SEASON CLINICS: Wednesdays 5-7 PM

Note: Team Training Sessions require a separate registration from Chelsea Piers League Play unless you choose to register for full winter season for a combined discount.
CHELEA PIERS WINTER YOUTH GIRLS
LACROSSE LEAGUE TEAM PLAY
DECEMBER 2, 2018 – MARCH 10, 2019
We had a Great experience fielding AMBITON teams in the Chelsea Piers Winter Lax League last year! 10 Games are played on Sundays throughout the winter. This is a great way to get our teams together, get a jump start on our summer season game play & help our players get game ready for Spring season travel & HS team tryouts! An awesome complement to our Winter Team Trainings!
|Times||Games will be scheduled anytime between 7:30am – 6:00pm * I have requested NO early 7:30 games 🙂|
|Game Format||5 v5 25-minute halves, 2-minute halftime
Youth & High School: Shortened Fields
|Team Roster||*This is a 5v5 league.
If we have more than 10 players register, we will alternate weeks per player and schedule around conflicts to allow optimal playing time per player.
